The Lady Spartans had an amazing 2019 volleyball season. They worked extra hard at tryouts to be able to get on the team. On August 21st Coach Vansickle toughly decided who was going to be on the team. It was a hard decision but she chose who was going to be on the team. August 22nd was our first ever practice. Our first game was September 12th at Washburn Rural Middle School in Topeka, Kansas. The lady Spartans played Washburn Rural and Shawnee Heights. We only had one home game and we had and a and b team tournament, an a team tournament, and a b team tournament. Sadly, the season ended in October. They all work incredibly hard. I can’t wait for next season.
