March 1, 2020
It takes hard work and dedication to become one of the best basketball players in history. But don’t take my word for it. Being a good basketball player requires being someone that can hit the game-winning shot when your team needs it. Here is a look at the top 3 best plays in basketball history.
3.Larry bird
Larry was known to have one of the smoothest jump shots of all time. He’s 1 of only 2 people in NBA history to win 3 consecutive MVP awards. During one of the games, Larry missed a jump shot. It was a rare miss that never was seen from a player with a jump shot like his. He crashed the boards and was able to get his rebound. He held it in his right hand and switched it to his left hand and was able to lay it up on the backboard as he fell out of bounds.

2.Magic Johnson
In the year 1987 during game 4 of the NBA finals, Johnson got the ball with 7 seconds left on the clock. The crowd was expecting the usual jump shot from Johnson. But instead, they got something unexpected. Johnson faked his defender with a stutter step which allowed him to be a couple of steps in front of his defender. Magic drove toward the high paint area and threw up a last-second hook shot. Amazingly, the shot went in.
- Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan is arguably one of the best basketball players of all time. During the 1991 NBA basketball championship, Jordan drove into the paint, switched the ball from his right to left hand in mid-air, and finished the amazing layup. It was truly a clutch shot but not surprising coming from such an amazing basketball player.
