Have you ever wanted to know more about pianos than the people around you? If you o want to know a little more about pianos your in luck because this story is a rundown of some of the parts of a piano and a little more.

The Pedals

The part of a piano everyone should know about. This part of the piano is the pedals. This part of the piano lets you hold a really long note, lets you play softer, and hold chords for a long amount of time. The pedal that holds the note for long amounts of time is the pedal on the far right, the pedal in the middle lets you play softer, and the pedal on the far left lets you hold chords for long amounts of time.

The Keys

One of the most important parts of a piano, the keys. (One of the two parts of a piano you need to play it). This part of the piano is black and white. The white keys are the notes A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The black notes are A# or B♭, C# or D♭, D# or E♭, F#, or G♭, and last but not least G#, or A♭. This part of the piano is the part where the music is made. (Discluding the hammers and strings).

The Hammers And Strings

This is also one of the most important parts of the piano. This is what makes the sound of the piano come out. The way this work is by pressing down a key that makes a hammer go down and strike a string that vibrates the string which makes the sound. The hammers, strings, keys, and the player are what make music on a piano.
