I recently had the chance to interview Paige Newland. We will be learning a lot about her including what sports she plays and what she wants to be when she grows up.

Q. What sports do you play?

A.I do gymnastics, cheer, and cross country.

Q. Why do you play those sports?
A. I do those sports cause they are fun and they keep me in shape.

Q. Which sport is your favorite sport and why?
A. Gymnastics because I’ve done it the longest out of the three.

Q. How far do you travel to go to competitions?
A. I’ve travelled as far as Florida.

Q. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A.I want to be an orthodontist.

Q. Why do you want to be an orthodontist?
A.I just took interest in it when my sister went to her first orthodontist appointment.

Q. What do you think about school this year?
A.I like it. I think it’s a good system.

Q. What is your favorite class so far this year?
A. For core classes my favorite class is world studies and for electives is theatre arts.

Q. Why is that your favorite class?
A. Théâtre arts is just fun in general and World studies because Mr. Hawley is super fun and we get work done.

Q. Do you prefer online school or in school and why?
A. Either I think they’re both good. I’m not biased about them either.
