Back in 2010 the newspaper club created the EMS Sound, it was created so kids at Emporia Middle School can share their thoughts and opinions with other people. It was then taken down and EMS finally got it back up in 2016 when a new class, World Studies, was introduced. Now every year lots of people join world studies and write stories for the EMS sound. Thank you to Mr. Hawley for helping me write this story, he is the teacher for world studies and he is great.
