For almost my whole life, my mother has been in charge of The First United Methodist Church’s (FUMC) Food Pantry. She keeps the pantry stocked and packs them up for people in need. The FUMC Food Pantry is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-12pm. The pantry used to be open for walk-in services, but due to COVID-19 it is now a drive thru program. Food donations for the FUMC Food Pantry are very welcome. So next time you go shopping, think about the people in need and your local food pantry.
