Why Pitbulls shouldn’t be banned

Have you ever owned a dog? Have you ever wanted a dog? I am going to tell you about one of the most misunderstood dog breeds. I am going to tell you why Pitbullspitbulls should be unbanned from the west coast to the East coast.

When it comes to Pitbulls being aggressive it is because they are scared not because they want to hurt you. The reason they are growling at you is because that is all they can do to get you away because they are frightened. They could be scared because they were mistreated by another person. They can’t tell if you are trying to hurt them or save them. They shouldn’t have to live out here days in a tiny little kennel their whole lives just because they were scared. When a child gets scared you try to help them. When you get scared you find a comfortablecomfort spot. For a dog, that comfortablecomfotablecomfort spot could be you. They don’t have much else.

Also when it comes to banning dogs. There can be a little chihuahua that is just as aggressive as a pit bull can be. SO why aren’t they banned? I feel that no dog should be banned because there are always ways that dogs can feel comfortable with a human. It is just like overcoming a fear. Plus most pit bulls are tamed. When it is the beginning for the dog they are just a little puppy. They are as timid as anything they can be. It counts how the dogs are cared for. They have to have food, water, and most of all they have to have love from their owner. Here are some other opinions, According to dogtime.com “Pit Bulls are often left at shelters and looked over by adopters because of harmful stereotypes. These dogs are loving and affectionate, and they deserve forever homes. Help spread the word!” According to PawCulture, “The annual Stand Up for Pits fundraiser featured comedic performances by Margaret Cho, Bill Burr, Josh Wolf, and Stand Up for Pits Foundation founder Rebecca Corry. The comedic actress was inspired to launch the organization by her personal experience with rescuing and rehabilitating an abandoned Pit Bull named Angel. After coming across the badly injured and abused dog in a Los Angeles-based shelter, she took her home and the two bonded instantaneously. It was then that Corry vowed to do what she could to help put a stop to the cruel mistreatment of Pit Bulls.” All sorts of celebrities own Pitbullspitbulls and want to make a change. What about you?

When a Ppitbull is aggressive there are ways to tame them. The DODO did a story on an aggressive pit bull that no one wanted to even look at. She growled at the people that walked by, but she found that right person that saved her. The Person said, “She is a little nervous, but you’re happy to be out of the shelter, right.” As soon as a rescuer took her out of that kennel she became mellow and if you truly see the side of the dog then you can feel that emotional change for that innocent little pitbull who was so badly misunderstood. That person that rescued her all she had to do was love the pitbull and she became a little puppy again and learned how to be a dog. She can now trust humans and can be just as loving as any other dog. Please watch the video to the end.

Thank you for reading my story about how pitbull bans should be lifted and all people can find that perfect dog in a Ppitbull. I hope I gave you another side on how loving a pit bull can be.
