The first animation was created by the artist named Émile Cohl. This animation was called Fantasmagorie, created in 1908. The film included stick men, moving around and encountering objects.

The first animation in the world blew a lot of minds away, as no one has seen one before. Using traditional animation on paper was how the first animation was made. Traditional animation meant using paper and drawing every single frame, the regular frame rate was 12 Frames Per Second. Many people were interested in how it was made. People were interested in getting jobs for animation, as it had started to get extremely popular in most towns and cities.

As animation had been progressing and getting better over time, Many companies raced to be the biggest studio, just like Disney did. Disney was the most popular studio in the last half of the 20th century era producing titles like Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and Sleeping Beauty. The new animations had a new style unlike others from the past. People all over the world loved to see Walt Disney’s films and what was next to come. This period of time showed many of what animation was capable of.

The major use of computers in animation brought many new ideas. The original Toy Story came out in 1995 and it was the first entirely computer-animated movie. Modern 2000’s+ animation started becoming far more advanced than anything previous. With the release of Toy Story 4, everything on screen was 3d instead of 2d, with amazing photorealistic graphics. Cars 3 had also come out in 2017, and it was a huge hit with it’s outstanding graphics, as it was a major improvement from the previous movie. Smaller companies worked on animation programs for people that had an ambition to animate, and there are multiple today. The companies helped out the people who couldn’t get their dream job at Disney or Pixar. Animation has shaped a lot of entertainment in the modern day, and has kept many happy.

Animation has had a massive impact on multiple people. The evolution of animation since 1908 has been a major improvement. With multiple movies using special effects that include animation, it has come so far as to being almost real. Many people (including myself) would love to grow and become a professional animator. This dream should be more recognized than it is, and for a lot of reasons; such as it can teach people the flow of movement  and physics in the real world. Many animations can be an inspiration to thousands of people throughout the world. Here are some of the first computer animations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlEhYkOeI5c
