Isn’t it fun to learn about other states and what they do? Well, even though I live in Kansas I’m going to talk about Nebraska and what they do every summer.

Every year the North Platte Board Directors and Staff hold this BIG event in the Wild West Arena for anyone that wants to do stuff and have a good time with other people. They have rodeos, food, country stars singing, and more! According to text,“It is held in June with their crazy events through the 13th and the 23rd”(https://nebraskalanddays.com/).

Today I had an interview my grandma and my mom. I asked them,“What do you like about their events? What was your most favorite thing that they held? And what do you think they should improve on? My mom said, “[One event I like is] the concerts because I love to listen to the music”. “[The favorite thing I likes is]  the animals/rodeo because it’s fun to watch”. [They should improve on is] “nothing because its happens every year and a lot of people come and they enjoy it!”

Next was my grandma she said, [One event that I liked to do was] “I went with my parents and we would sit in chairs and watch the parade”. “[My favorite thing that they held was] Everything because it tells the history of Buffalo bill and he was a big Indian guy that impacted Nebraska”. “[The thing they should improve on is] Probably nothing”.

After I was done interviewing my grandma and my mom they had the same answer on what they should improve on which is really good to hear. When you go to the Wild West Arena you could see the bright lights of the stands, different people from all over, and animals for the rodeos. You could smell the delicious scent of funnel cakes and hot dogs mixed with odor of animal waste, and you hear all the noise from the people, rides, and music at the concerts. So, in the summer, if you’re bored and have nothing to do, ask your parents/guardians to take you to the NEBRASKA LAND DAY event through June 13-23rd and have fun with their astonishing events they have every year!
