Introduction-Hook Idea:Rhetorical question:
Have you ever had to color with markers and the ink doesn’t come out? Well, it happens all the time because you don’t have the best marker you can have. Today I will tell you what type of marker is best in color, price and how long it will last. Today the two markers we will go over are the Copic Marker and the Prismacolor Marker.

Brightness: Alright both brands are very bright and amazing to use but there has to be a winner. For the brightness so I am going to give it to Prismacolor, because the art I saw with Prismacolor just popped and I didn’t see so much of this in Copic. Although many Pros use copic I just didn’t see as much color. So that is why I hand it to Prismacolor. I personally have tried Prismacolor and think that they are amazing but I haven’t used Copic for other reasons, but we’ll get to that later.

Durability: For durability I looked up copic and they said “Copic markers are high quality and long lasting.” However, how long they last really depends on how much you use them. The best thing about Copic markers is they are refillable – and the nibs are also replaceable. If you keep refilling them and replacing the tips, logically Copic markers can be used for decades.
At the same time, we have to say Copic markers won’t last “forever”, though.

And an artist that uses Prismacolor Said “Every artist can appreciate these double-ended art markers. The ink is formulated to give the richest color saturation with silky smoooooth coverage. The duality of the thick and skinny tips let you change it up whenever the mood strikes. One ink source ensures color consistency from either end.” But for this one I hand it to Copic because they have refills and can last for a looooong…. period of time.

Price: Lots of markers or any art supplies can be really great but can cost a whole lot of money and that can be a difference between getting it and not. So that is what I am going over now for the Tie Breaker. And the winner is Prismacolor because the price of copic is so high for what they sell. They are selling 36 markers for 179$ . That is crazy! I just can’t afford that so that is why Prismacolor wins it all.

In conclusion after all of this research we clearly have a winner. The game changer was the price it just dug a deeeeeeep hole for Copic; the price is so high that there is no way Copic wins. But if you don’t believe me have a look for yourself. Here are some sources for Copic and Prismacolor.
