Teachers and students at EMS have been celebrating the most recent holiday, Easter. On Easter (April 4th) this year my mom’s side of the family came down from Wichita, Topeka, and Overland Park and gathered at my house for the holiday. Some of them hadn’t seen our new house, which we’ve had for a little over a year. The younger kids gotta find some Easter eggs that us older kids had hid. Then us teenagers went to the park and played kickball. While we were playing kickball a field nearby got set on fire so then a lot of firefighters were out so we quickly went home just in case. My grandma made a bunch of food which was absolutely delicious. They had to leave at around 7 pm which was a bummer but we definitely had so much fun and I can’t wait till next time they come.
