The first reason that Kansas City should bring back their NBA team is that Kansas City would make more money because of the games. Kansas City wouldn’t have to make a new arena unless they had enough money to because they already have the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, so they wouldn’t have to spend money on that. According to Biz Journals Portland “the Portland Trail Blazers have raised the Portland economy by 2 billion dollars.” So if Kansas City would bring back and host an NBA team they would be able to make more money for the city.

The next reason is that people would go to the games because the closest NBA games from KC are OKC. This reason is big because Kansas CIty has NBA fans that want to go to their favorite team’s games but they would have to plan a vacation because they would have to go out of state and spend more money than they want to. This means that if Kansas City got an NBA team fans would be able to come to their favorite team’s games.

The last reason is that the population would go up and people would be happier. This last reason is for the NBA fans that want the city they live in to have a basketball team. It would also mean that the population would go up because people want to live in a city that has more money and with more people coming to the city there would be more jobs open because the NBA team would need new workers.
