On December 28th, 2021, my family and I left on a plane from Kansas to Chicago and onto Munich. After a long overnight flight, my grandpa picked us up from the airport; where the first thing we did was get Starbucks! We drove on the Autobahn to get to my grandfather’s and then my aunt’s house.  We spent over a week visiting family across Germany, and then we drove through France to get to my uncle’s house. We flew back to the states on January 7th, 2022, but due to weather delays; we didn’t get back home to Emporia until the next day. My favorite part of the trip was getting to go shopping and seeing my family. If you ever get the chance to go somewhere new, Germany is a fun place to visit.
