Around 25.3 million people watch college football a year. Have you ever seen a college marching band? Most of the time people don’t think of other college stuff like college marching bands. Today you are going to learn about the top 4 best college marching bands.   

The first band is the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band. This band was founded in 1881. The director is Eric W. Bush. There are 260 members. They have 3 fight songs which are “’ On Iowa’, ‘Iowa Fight Song’, and ‘Roll Along Iowa’”. The two colors on the uniforms are yellow and black. 

The next band is the University of Michigan Marching Band. This band was founded in 1896 the director is John Pasquale. There are 400 members in this band. They have one fight song called “The Victors”. They have two uniforms; they are both blue, white, and yellow.

The second to last band is the Penn State Blue Band. This band was founded in 1899. The director is Gregory Drane. There are 323 members in this band. They have one fight song called “Fight on, State”. They have one uniform and it is blue and white. 

Lastly, the Ohio State University Marching 110. They were founded in 1923. The director is Richard Suk. There are 240 members in this band. They have one fight song called “Stand Up and Cheer!”. Their uniforms are white black and green.
