On January 15th of 2019 EMS’s own boy’s basketball team, the Emporia Spartans, got another victory under their belt against Shawnee Heights. It was a home game so we were already familiar with the court, but that’s no excuse to get cocky, we needed to earn the win. We fought hard and in the end we had won against Shawnee Heights. It was nice to have another win with us but the Spartans are just getting started.
