The second trimester for students in Emporia in grades k-12 will soon come to an end. Thursday, February 21, 2019, is the last day students have in school for the current trimester.  For students in middle school and high school, they will be able to enjoy new electives. Since the trimester is ending, students will not have school on Friday, February 22, 2019, so that teachers will be able to prepare for the new trimester, students, and classes.
