Sporting KC and Minnesota United FC played a soccer game September 17, 2022 at Children’s Mercy Park as a part of their season. Sporting came out on top with the final score being 4-1.

At Children’s Mercy Park September 17, 2022 the weather was a beautiful 87 degrees and there was a nice breeze. In the first half, we had 3 goals and they had none. In the second half, it was 4-1! In the game, there were 21 fouls total and we only did 9 of them. There were 2 yellow cards total, one on us and one on them.

The fans were as loud as usual until… We SCORED!!!! So after that, the fans are crazy and you just have that feeling that you will score again or even win. When the fans do the chant “Everybody”, everyone gets up and it is super exciting!

A: I like that they are easy to be fans of and they seem like nice people.

A: I like Khiry Shelton, he is cool.

A: When we score and everyone starts cheering.

I love going to Sporting games. When I pull into the parking lot I forget all of my troubles because I just know that I will have a good time. My brother and I sometimes argue in the parking lot but we still like to hang out. It was a beautiful day and I love seeing my favorite team win! Some advice is to tailgate and bring some games!
