On February 20th Emporia Middle School will honor the custodial staff by celebrating Janitor’s Day. Janitors keep our school in peak condition by getting rid of stray paper towels and scattered trash. We unintentionally throw everything at them: vomit, spilled water, etc. Yet they still clean up our mess without fail. You will never, ever hear them complain about anything. These are the underappreciated heroes of our school. So I ask you to please show your appreciation by saying thank you to your custodial staff.
