Have you ever had trouble being more like your character when acting? These are some tips that should help you. It might be hard at first but if you work hard you should get it.
Reading the script
You may read your script but you really just skim through it. You have to really read into it. You even have to read other people’s parts so that you know how you should react when you go next. Really, reading the whole script can help you be more like your character.
Ask questions to your character
How to develop your character in acting is a question, and the answer also lies in asking a question to your character. It’s important to know the impulses of your character. Your character faces a number of situations and you would have to face those situations as your character. So you need to ask “what would they do?”.
Physicality
You need to think about what the character looks like and how they would talk. How they look and talk could change how the audience thinks of them. You don’t want it to be like any other character. You want it to be unique and different.
These three things should help you develop your character. It is important to develop your character so that you are more like them and not you. It will make the performance way better and more believable.
