I recently interviewed Maddox Shivley who you might have seen hitting baseballs or dribbling basketballs. He was the perfect candidate for my interview because he does sports, knows about his future and likes many different subjects in school. So if you are interested in any of those things then keep reading.

Q: Do you plan on doing any sports, what ones?

A: I am doing Cross country, Basketball and track.

Q: Are you glad that we get to do sports in seventh grade?

A: Yes because, it brings you closer to your classmates and teammates.

Q: I know that you play sports but, what sports do you like to watch?

A: I like to watch basketball, baseball and football because it gives me something to do.

Q: Did you do sports during the summer?

A: Yes basketball and baseball during the summer.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about sports?

A: I like to compete to win.

Q: If you could only go to one class, what would it be and why?

A: I would only go to STEM because it is hands on and you get to build things.

Q: If you could teach a class, what would it be?

A: I would choose P.E because you get to run around and play sports.

Q: If you could skip a class what would it be?

A: It would be the last class because I like to go home early.

Q: What are some assignments that you like from those classes?

A: Right now we are kind of just doing get to know you activities but those are fun.

Q: What is your favorite thing to learn about in those classes?

A: I like to learn about computers and how to make lights in STEM.

Q: When you grow up, what do you want to be?

A: I want to be a sports player or work in a bank.

Q:What college do you want to go to?

A: I want to go to ESU or K-State because I know my way around ESU and I just like K-State.

Q: Who inspired you to want to be a sports player and work at a bank?

A: All of the people that I hunt and fish with work at a bank and Micheal Jordan inspired me to want to be a sports player.

Q: When did you figure out that you wanted to do those jobs?

A: This summer I found a website that talked about your path in life and your career and it told me about these jobs.

Q: Do you know anyone personally who has those jobs?

A: I don’t know any sports players personally but my neighbor works at a bank.
