Have you ever thought about what bullying does to you or others? Bullying should not be tolerated in schools. Some of the victims of bullying are depressed and lose interest in social life and work. There have been many instances where young people have committed suicide to escape the torment of bullies. Many children and teens are bullied at school every day.

Some of the victims of bullying are depressed and lose interest in social life and work. This means that… “A very small number of bullied children might retaliate through extremely violent measures. In 12 of 15 school shooting cases in the 1990s, the shooters had a history of being bullied.” This means that kids are becoming depressed and are starting school shootings because of their bully.

There have been many instances where young people have committed suicide to escape the torment of bullies. “Many issues contribute to suicide risk, including depression, problems at home, and trauma history, and ANY involvement with bullying behavior is one stressor which may significantly contribute to feelings of helplessness and hopelessness that raise the risk of suicide.” This means that bullying is literally killing kids in school to this day.

Many children and teens are bullied at school every day. “41% of students who reported being bullied at school indicated that they think the bullying would happen again.” This means that kids are scared to report a bully and they shouldn’t be scared.
