All out all games all season. In volleyball there are many different positions. Let me tell you about some main positions that are really important and have a big impact on the court. All of these positions require skill and you have to stay focused because, unlike other sports, you don’t really know where the balls are gonna go.

Their very first spot on a volleyball court is the serving position. Everyone calls that position one. This position is really important because you need to serve to start off the game and if you don’t start off the game then know one can win. The person who serves first is most likely to be the best server on the team or the setter.

The next position that I’m going to talk about is right next to the server position in the back row. It is middle back. Usually the shorter people are in the back row because you have to be able to get up over the net to hit and block in the front row. As for backrow, it’s easier to get down low to pass when you’re shorter.

Those are the main spots in the back row so now I’m going to talk about some of the front row positions. Personally, I think that outside hitter is the most fun position to play in volleyball so let’s talk about it. You have to do certain footwork before you can hit the ball, and, if your footwork is correct and you contact the ball on the middle of your palm with an open hand, you will have a great hit. One last position that I’m going to talk about is the setter. They can either be in the front row or back row, but they are usually in the front row. Without the setter you wouldn’t be able to get a good hit. And if you don’t get a good hit then you can’t score. The setter has such an important job and should be talked about more. Everyone gets so happy when people have good hits but really it’s the set that made it a good hit so they should get way more credit.

Those are all of the main positions on a volleyball court. It really helps to know these positions as beginners because you can read this then go to camps and already know what you are doing. It’s so much fun and I personally really do think that it’s the best girls sport to play and it’s so much fun.
