Have you ever wondered why we can’t have our backpacks with us in the classrooms? At EMS we can’t have our backpacks because if any students decided to put something inappropriate in there, they could easily get it out in class. Also, it could be nice because if you left something in your bag, you don’t have to go to your locker, you’ll have it with you. I interviewed Hadley Long to ask her what her opinion is on this topic, and she said, “ I think we should be able to carry backpacks because the binders the school provides are the same size as backpacks and it’s not like we are carrying anything extra, except our phones. But if a teacher has a basket, they can put their phones in.” Make sure you come back next week for more hot takes on the hot take hot line!!!
