Have you ever had Pickled Pork Hocks? Well, I haven’t, and I’m not sure I would want to try that. But I’m going to be writing a story about The Weirdest Pickled Foods, like pickled pork hocks. Today I’ll have about the same format as my last story, but I will tell you if I would try any of these.
Pickled Pork Hocks
Pickled Pork Hocks are pig legs, but dunked in pickle juice. I wouldn’t say they’re good because they have pickled pig legs, and I don’t personally like any kind of pig. My hot take is I wouldn’t try them because it just doesn’t sound good at all. Although I like pork chops, and they’re kinda similar, they’re also pickled. And if I ever wanted to try them, I’m not even sure where I could find them.
Pickled Eggs
Pickled eggs are eggs that are drowned in pickle juice. I personally haven’t heard of them, but I do know someone that has. “Oh my gosh, I loveee pickled eggs, they’re so good.”-Callia Foraker. Even though Callia likes pickled eggs, that doesn’t mean everyone is going to like it. My hot take on pickled eggs is that I don’t like them because I don’t even like eggs; I only eat eggs in breakfast burritos. So, I personally wouldn’t try them because they’re not for me. I just don’t like eggs like that.
Pickled Churchy Carrots
Pickled churchy carrots pretty much are like everything else, like they’re soaked in pickle juice. My hot take on this is that it’s not good. I say it’s not good because I don’t like carrots at all, no matter what you put them with. I don’t like them, and I think if you put it in pickle juice, it won’t change the fact that I don’t like them. So I wouldn’t try them because they don’t sound good to me, and I just don’t like carrots like that (or at all).
Pickled Peaches
Pickled peaches take a bit longer than normal things you pickle. Pickled peaches have to soak in pickle juice, obviously, but you have to cook them for 15 minutes, then you have to cook them for 12 hours. According to Nana’s South Pickled Peaches, that was their recipe. I’ve heard of other people cooking them like this, but this was one of the only websites I’ve seen. My hot take is these would be good because they sound kinda good. It’s not something I see or hear every day, so I would try them, and peaches aren’t the best, but I would like to try them. I would try them because they sound good, and it’s something new that I’ve heard of quite a bit.
You can pickle almost everything, but I mainly saw fruits or veggies. Another pickled food that I wanted to talk about was pickled pineapples. They definitely stood out, but I didn’t see them till I already found the pickled foods I wanted to talk about. If you liked this story, you should read my last story because it was about Pickle foods. That story was about foods that were pickle-flavored. I think my favorite one to talk about was the sour pickle bites roulette. Pickle you later!
