Do you remember your first day of school? Well, I do, and let me tell you it was a crazy one. Not once did I think that it would go that way. A lot of unexpected things happened that can possibly happen to you too.
The night before I set up my clothes and did some skincare so my skin looks good, moisturized, and shiny,I did go to sleep uncomfortable but at least my skin will look good. Although my mom told me to sleep early, I couldn’t sleep much because the thought of the first day of EMS made me really nervous and scared. I couldn’t wait to see my friends and to have lots of fun moments over the course of the year.
The morning of the first day of middle school I woke up to the good smell of bacon and eggs with some french toast. I was so excited to eat. I finished my breakfast and went to get ready. While I was getting ready, I fell over my
laundry basket. It hurt bad, and I just laid there complaining and wondering if this was worth it. I realized that I didn’t have a choice, so I went to my bus. I waited until it arrived. I was feeling anxious since that was the first time I would be riding the bus. I didn’t know what to do nor how stuff would go. I felt my stomach turning around all over the place.
The moment I stepped foot in this school the only thought that was going through my head was to not mess up. In the morning I looked for my friends who were just as nervous as me. Once that bell rang my heart was pounding. I didn’t know how to open my locker, nor where everything was. I was stressed. But my problems were solved when I asked Mrs.Williams for help. Everything was so new but there were new people which meant new friends. My foot was hurting from the morning and I had to run. One of the most painful moments in my life.
After the first day of EMS, I couldn’t wait to come back! I know that not many kids would say that, but really I was ready for more school. It was fun learning where my classes were and how to move around the school. I went on the bus back home while listening to music. But obviously another thing had to happen! I fell and it hurt really bad again. I looked down and noticed that blood came out and my ankle hurt. But when I got home my mom had bought me some McDonald’s and I was really happy even though I fell twice in one day.
This experience was definitely useful in so many ways. It helped me realize that things can get in the way of your day, but you should always keep going no matter what. It also helped me by giving me a chance to learn and grow each year. And even if my nerves get in the way, I am grateful to have an education each year because there are people who wish to have an education but can’t.
