Do you like pickles? Well, I sure do if you can’t tell. I’ve literally written 3 stories over them, and this is my 4th. Today I’m going to be asking four people what they think is the best thing to put pickles on. I’m going to be asking Callia Foraker, Lucy Frank, Presley Garza, and, lastly, Kayla Glenn(my mom).
“I think the best thing to put pickles on is salads.”-Callia Foraker. I don’t personally eat pickles on salads, but Callia does. As she also stated after asking her, “I eat salads twice a week with pickles”. Salads don’t only have pickles in them; you could put tomatoes, carrots, salad dressing, and lettuce, obviously. Another thing you could put pickles on is a hot dog; you could put straight pickles on it or relish. Relish is a pickle just mushed up into a sauce.
“Maybe a sandwich or burger.”-Lucy Frank. Pickles on burgers, I’ve heard, are pretty good. I’ve seen a lot of people at school eat pickles with a burger, and they normally have ketchup or mustard on them too. Some burgers have a lot of different veggies, but would you call pickles a vegetable? I say they are because they go in salads, sandwiches, and more foods that have veggies on them.
“My favorite thing to put pickles on, sandwiches!”-Presley Garza. Putting pickles on sandwiches is probably the first thing I think of if someone asks me what I like to put pickles on. I like pickles on my sandwiches sometimes. If you see me eating a sandwich, it’ll either be a pickle sandwich or a meat sandwich with deli meats and chips. When I eat a pickle sandwich, I have pickles, obviously, cheese, and deli meats.
“Well, when I was pregnant, I ate pickles on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”-Kayla Glenn. Well, that’s definitely something. I don’t think I’ve heard that before. Normally, it’s like on a deli meat sandwich, but pregnancy does make you crave weird things. I personally haven’t tried it, and I think a lot of other people haven’t either. But you know everyone likes their own things.
Well, after reading this, if you haven’t had pickles on your sandwich or salad, then I would try it because you never know what you like until you try it.
