Have you ever got a compliment, Quiet Favor, or even felt what it feels like when someone is just looking out for you? Doesn’t that just make your day better? or have you given one and it makes you feel better? if not Here are some of my favorite tiny acts of kindness that brighten my day!. try these out and see how much of a kinder and sweeter person it makes you and others feel.
A Quiet Favor Done Without Announcement
The fifth tiny act of goodness is A Quiet Favor Done Without Announcement. A quiet favor doesn’t need to be big. It could even be as little as a hug or even a note. Everyone enjoys telling them how nice they are or ect so this will make their day. People who do quiet favors are amazing. According to this link, “They move through the world differently, almost invisibly sometimes, leaving things a little better than they found them”. That’s why I think this is my fifth tiny act of goodness because it’s good for us to be loved.
A Friend Checking In “Just Because”.
The fourth tiny act of goodness is A Friend Checking In “Just Because”. Most people like talking about their day, so it could be as simple as you asking “how’s your day?”
It could be because someone is worried, or even just someone seeing how you are.
Remember to check in instead of check up. According to, link, “to try to discover what someone is doing in order to be certain that that person is doing what they should be doing”. That’s why I think this is my fourth tiny act of goodness because it’s good for us to be cared for.
Someone Sharing Something They Thought You’d Love
The third tiny act of goddess is Someone Sharing Something They Thought You’d Love. So, when someone comes up with something that’s your favorite color or doesn’t make you feel loved and understanded. This makes us feel like we’re cared for.
As the link says, “Without experiencing that others know us, or are able to, we’re left feeling alone”. That’s why I think this is good as my third tiny act of goodness because it’s good for us to feel understood.
A Compliment Given at the Exact Moment Someone Needed It
The next tiny act of goodness is Give a Compliment at the Exact Moment Someone Needed It.
If someone’s being mean or judgemental, that is a good time to go in and tell your friend that their hair is pretty and make them forget about what the other person said. This makes you a kindhearted person and the person you comfort will respect you. This link says, “Isn’t it nice to be recognized when you’re feeling cute? The occasional and appropriately timed “you look nice today” can be a confidence boost when we’re needing it most”. That’s why I think this is good as my second tiny act of goodness.
A Person Listens And Interact When You’re Talking.
The number one tiny act of goodness is listening and interacting when you are talking to others. The speaker will be happy that you listened and it will put a smile on their face. This could make their day, there week, and overall set them in a good mood. According to this link, “Active listening is a valuable skill in which the listener makes a conscious effort to understand the speaker’s entire message”. That is why this is at the top of my list because caring about people and listening is very important to do.
That’s all my tips for doing Tiny Acts of Goodness, and Becoming Someone’s Brightest Moment. I hope you learned something on how to give little acts of goodness and how it makes others feel when you do. just one little act can always brighten people’s day. One thing that did not make my list was physical touch because some people don’t always like hugs.
