Have you ever wondered what movies to watch when it’s Christmas time? Once Thanksgiving passes the only movies I will watch are Christmas movies to get me feeling festive and in the spirit. Today I’m gonna tell you what my top 5 Christmas movies are and why they made the list.
5. At number 5 I have Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. This movie is great because it is funny and I think it is an inspirational movie because it tells you to stand up to your bully and to be yourself. If you want to see the trailer, click this link
4. In 4th I have The Polar Express. It came out on November 10, 2004. It’s in 4th because it is a good movie but it is animated and I think the characters look kinda creepy. If you want to watch the trailer, click on this link.
3. In 3rd I have Frosty The Snowman. This movie came out on December 7, 1969. I love this movie because it is a classic Christmas movie, and Frosty is so funny and joyful. It is a great movie to watch with your family. If you want to see what Frosty is like, use this link.
2. In 2nd I have How The Grinch Stole Christmas because it is funny. I love Dr. Seuss books and movies, so this is one of my favorites. This movie was made in 2000 and some of the main characters are the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Martha May, and Max ( the dog). If you want to watch the trailer, use this link.
1. In first I have Home Alone. This movie was made in 1990. The main characters in this movie are Kevin, Marv, Harry, the mom, the dad, brothers, sisters, and cousins. I love this movie because it is hilarious and it always puts me in a good mood. I like the part when Kevin reunites with his family. If you want a glimpse of the movie, use this link to watch the trailer.
Some movies that didn’t make the list are Christmas Vacation and Elf, these are both great Christmas movies but they are just not movies that I have to watch at Christmas time. In conclusion I think Home Alone is the best Christmas movie to watch at Christmas time, and if you want to watch these movies, most of them are on Hulu, Prime Video, Disney +, and Netflix.
