Have you ever been to an art museum? Well, if you have or haven’t, I am here to talk about one of the most famous art pictures called the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was first painted in 1503 by a guy named Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo da Vinci was a man born in 1452-1519 who was an Italian polymath of the High Renaissance who epitomized the “Renaissance Man” through his expertise in painting, science, engineering, and anatomy. The person who made the Mona Lisa was Lisa Gherdini. And she was an Italian noblewoman from Florence and the subject of Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic masterpiece, the Mona Lisa.
