Are you bored? Do you have a phone that you can watch shows on? There’s such a wide variety of shows out there, but today I’m going to name my top four that are great to watch when you’re bored out of your mind.
My Life With The Walter Boys
The first show I’m going to talk about is My Life With The Walter Boys. One day I was scrolling on Netflix and I stumbled upon this show. When I first started it, I fell in love. The show has a total of two seasons with twenty episodes, but they are currently making the third season. The show is a story about a girl whose life upended when her family dies in a car crash and she moves in with her mom’s best friend who is raising seven sons and one daughter.
Gilmore girls
The second show I will be talking about is Gilmore Girls. I was again scrolling through Netflix when I looked at my most recommended shows, and Gilmore Girls was at the top. The first episode was basically an introduction to everyone, so I got a little bored. I came back a week later to watch more, and I adored it. There was always something going on, whether it was Rory running away or her mom having problems with her crazy love life. There are seven seasons, and a total of 153 episodes. It took me almost six months to finish it. The show is about a caffeine-fueled relationship between a mother and daughter in a small town of Starshollow, Connecticut.
Stranger Things
Now Stranger Things. My mom and dad had been watching this show since I was five. I started watching it when the last season came out and my parents thought I was old enough to watch it. I then finished it a month later. The show was also very popular at the time, so I was super excited to watch it. The show has a total of five seasons and 42 episodes. I was really intrigued in the third season because everyone had a huge part and no one was a side character. Each season starts out with all of the characters split apart, and then as the final episode of the season gets closer, they all start to get together when they resolve the problem. Stranger Things is about the disappearance of a young boy, the discovery of a superpowered girl named Eleven, and battles against a parallel, monstrous dimension called the Upside Down, Russians, and the military.
OuterBanks
Lastly, OuterBanks. I started watching OuterBanks about one and a half years ago. I was in my parents’ bedroom when my mom was watching it. She was on season three. I thought it was really interesting, so I started to watch it. I also told my friends about it, and then some of them started to watch it too. The show right now has four seasons with 40 episodes. They are currently done filming and are now editing the fifth season, which will be their last. My best friend moved away last year, and we promised each other we would watch the last season together, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. Each season is a new adventure for the Pogues, Kooks, and the adventures can also be life or death situations. The show starts after a hurricane, John B, JJ, Pope, and Kiara plunge headlong into danger and adventure when they find a mysterious sunken wreck. The first season makes you want to watch more. Trust me!
Out of all of these shows, I recommend watching Outer Banks first. It is rated TV-MA, so ask an adult before watching. If you want to find out more about OuterBanks before watching, here’s the official trailer.
