Did you know “Pickled cucumbers are 4,000 years old”? If you wanna know where I got that info, click here. I didn’t know that, but I love pickles, and that’s why I’m talking about them today! As you can tell the title is called “Why I Like Pickles. After you read this one and you like this one you should read my next one after this. My first paragraph is about taste.
I personally think pickles taste sweet but tangy at the same time. Yet not all people love sweet and tangy. I personally think it’s good. Although the tangy isn’t like an orange tangy it’s more like a kinda sour tangy. It’s also like a cucumberish because it is a cucumber soaked in vinegar. Which is how you make pickles, and I will talk about that in the next story.
The texture of pickles is extremely crunchy and also really really chewy. I don’t mind the chewiness or the crunchyness. Although some people don’t like how crunchy it is because they don’t like the way it sounds, I don’t mind. I think the chewiness of pickles is the biggest part of it because the crunch is only when you take a bite.
There are many different kinds of pickles, and I think my favorite kind is Million Dollar Pickles. Million Dollar Pickles are a bit spicy but still have the sweet and tangy taste. The reason that’s my favorite is because I love spicy food, but not spicy candy, and I don’t like it to be really spicy. Million Dollar Pickles are like the perfect amount of spicy. If you wanna know where you can get them, click this.
After reading my story, I hope you want to try pickles or at least you’re thinking of trying pickles. If you don’t want to try it yet, then read my next story about How Pickles Are Made. After reading this and you want more info about pickles but not from me then click here.
