Have you ever wondered what are some of the best service places in Emporia?? You can donate and help homeless people and you can stop horrible things. Well, today I am going to tell you about the top three best services in Emporia! They are the Salvation Army, SOS, and community service.

The first service place is the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 in London by Methodist minister William Booth and his wife Catherine as the “East London Christian Mission.’ to provide “Soup, Soap, and salvation to the poor, homeless and destitute.” They help sell used items at a cheaper price. This place is in the list because it helped my family get useful stuff, and it felt good to donate to this place.

The second service place is SOS. SOS was founded in 1976 as an offshoot of the local national organization for women. They help with free and confidential support for individuals and families in Emporia. SOS is on the list because they can do fast service and help with stuff that you can not control most of the time.

The third service place is the Community Foundation in Emporia, KS. The community foundation was founded in 1995 by eleven pupils and five community members. They help with giving people money and caring for them. This service is on the list because it is a highly personalized service and maximizes tax advantages.
