Do you have a favorite actor, or a character from a book? I do, and all of my favorite actors ended up being in the exact same movie together! The movie was first a book, written by Coleen Hoover. The story is about Kenna Rowan, who returns to her town after serving five years in prison for a tragic drunk-driving accident that killed her boyfriend, Scotty.
My favorite characters from the show were Rudy Pankow (Outer Banks). He was one of my favorites because he always did an amazing job fitting in as the chaotic best friend.” Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), she was one of my favorites because she always reminded me of my mom. Jennefer Robersten (Ginny and Georgia) She was such a good person for her role in that movie. She played the best friend’s mom, and boy was there gossiping. These people all played in Reminders Of Him as different characters. Rudy Pankow played Scotty, Lauren Graham played the grandma, and Jennefer Robertson played the motel boss.
Now the book. As you know the book was turned into a movie. According to Betty C. she gave the book five stars, “If you’re a fan of Colleen Hoover, then you were probably excited to see her latest novel, “Reminders of Him,” hit shelves. And if you’re not a fan of Hoover, well, this book might just change your mind.” According to Timiddy, she gave the book five stars as well, “An EASY 5 stars. This is my kinda romance story. A little messy, a little sad, a little spice, some suspense, some thrill, and a beautiful ending to it all. My heart is full and I absolutely loved reading this one the whole way through. I cannot wait to read more CoHo books in my future.”
Last but not least the movie ratings. According to Rotten Tomatoes, they say their audience says, “A perfectly cast adaptation to Colleen Hoover’s bestselling romance novel, Reminders of Him calls for a date — or a box of tissues.” Overall I think people really thought that the movie did a good job recreating the book. I have not read the book myself, but my mother has. She thinks they really put the “characters’ lives in perspective for the people watching”, to help them better understand the storyline.
Personally, I would definitely recommend the movie to you if you’re ready to cry every ten minutes. I went with my friends so they were a very good shoulder to cry on. My favorite actors were so fun to watch all come together. I was very sad when I learned how my favorite actor died in the movie, but I will leave that up for you to figure out, just in case you want to watch the movie as well.
That’s it folks, I hope you enjoyed this one. Here’s the link to buy the Reminders Of Him book. If you’ve watched the movie or read the book, come find me, I would love to hear your opinion. Come back next week because there is always something on.
