Have you ever gotten brand new shoes so dirty, and you think, “I’m never going to be able to get the dirt off!” Well, I know I definitely have. So here are a couple of ways you can get your shoes looking as good as new!!
Magic Eraser
The first way to get your shoes really clean is a Magic Eraser. A Magic Eraser is made out of melamine foam. Melamine foam cleans up basically anything. You can clean kitchen appliances, bathrooms, and even more; that’s why they work so well on shoes. They get in the little crevices you can’t ever get. The way that works best when you clean your shoes is that you will need to get the magic eraser damp, and you will need to go and scrub on all the places that are dirty. You will need to keep scrubbing until it starts to go away.
Dry Brush
The second way to get your shoes cleaned up is a dry brush. A dry brush is to remove loose dirt and mud from the shoes. One cool thing about a dry brush is that you won’t need water (it’s kinda in the name). There are so many different types of dry brushes, like horsehair for polishing and general cleaning, stiff pig/boar bristle for deep cleaning the shoe. The way that works the best to get them clean, you will need to put your hand in the shoe, grab the brush, and start to brush them. You will just need to keep brushing till you are satisfied with the shoes.
Tide Detergent
Last but not least is Tide Detergent; this is one of the best ways to get them clean. You can get the unscented or the original one. What I do when I clean my shoes is either soak them in water and detergent then pop them in the washer, or I mix Tide and Oxi Clean powder and I will scrub them and let them sit in the sun and put them in the washer; but after you have them in the washer, you shouldn’t put them in the dryer; it’s much better to let them air dry.
