Isn’t it smarter to ask your teacher for the quick, correct way to do something like checking grades rather than to rely on confusing rumors from your friends? Here is a 6th-grade survival kit from a teacher’s point of view.
Miss.Mason, 6th grade, Aqua, ELA
- Get involved! Try out some Spartan Xtra clubs, performing arts groups, Cheer, StuCo, etc. It’ll help you find new friends with common interests.
- Find what works best for you with organization! Planner, digital reminders, to-do lists, a homework folder, etc. You have a lot more classes to keep track of this year.
- Ask for help when you need it! We’ve all been in your shoes before and are here to help!
Mr.Williams, 6th grade, Aqua, Social Studies
- Be friends with everybody
- Don’t take part in drama, and avoid it as much as possible
- Don’t get behind with homework
- If you need help (with anything), never be afraid to ask
- smile and use your manners : )
Isn’t it crazy how much a teacher can help you? Teachers can emphasize organization skills, help you grow to be a better person when you’re older, and help raise responsibility. Come back next week to see more 6th-grade survival kits.
