“Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do”. – John Wooden. I think this has a lot to do with 6th graders. They always have lots of questions that stop them from being who they are. In this story, I will be answering just some of them and giving my best advice!
Aubrey asked, “What is 6th Grade Like?” My best answer to that is it’s super fun meeting lots of new people, but it can be difficult to maintain grades.
Amina asked, “ Do My Grades Affect Next Year?” Your grades determine if you need to go to a class that will give you more help or a class that will challenge you. Also, there are classes right in the middle.
Lots of people asked, “Will I Have Classes With My Friends?” I know that teachers talk to your 5th-grade teacher to see who works well together, but I don’t know the way they pick teams and classes.
Those are some of the questions inside a 6th grader’s mind. Thanks to all the 6th graders who filled out the form, even if I didn’t use your responses. I hope this answers any questions that 6th-grade students might have.
