“The more you read, the more you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Dr.Seuss. Today Ms.Lawson is going to teach you some reading habits
Ms.Lawson, Library
- Read daily (10 minutes)
- Choose the reading format that you prefer (traditional book, graphic novel, magazine)
- Connect to interests (sports, history, anime)
- Select books that can relate to real-life experiences
- Listen to an audiobook
- Turn on captions and read them while watching your favorite movie/TV show.
- Read the same book as a friend, then talk about what is happening in the story.
- Avoid distractions from devices during reading time.
- Select a book series or read books by your favorite author
- Create a comfortable space for reading.
