“Basketball is my escape, I feel at my best when I play.” Ja Morant. If you’ve ever wanted to play basketball but you didn’t know if you’d like it or not. Well, today I’m going to be interviewing a girl named Hadley Long. She’s on purple team at EMS. She’s lived here for 6 years or so .Now I’m going to ask her some questions about basketball.

Q: How long have you been playing basketball?

A: “I have been playing basketball for 6 years, counting this year.”

Q: What’s your favorite position in basketball? Why?

A: “I like playing point guard because I can control where the ball goes.”

Q: What’s your jersey number? Is that number something to you or is it just a number?

A: “My number this year is 10. I have always been number 9 and it was kinda disappointing that they don’t have a 9 because I was born on the 9th and ever since I started basketball, I was 9.”

Q: What’s your favorite part of basketball?

A: “My favorite part of basketball is when you played so well after a game, and your whole team did amazing putting all the pieces we needed to work on together, and we won, and all of us just had a really good time after.”
