Have you ever been disorganized and become very overwhelmed? Well, if you have, then today some of our amazing team leaders will be giving some advice on how to improve your organization.

- My biggest advice: Write everything down! Make a to-do list. This makes it less likely that you forget or overlook things.
- Prioritize- What needs to be done immediately? What can wait? Which tasks take more effort/time?
- Set smaller goals/deadlines for yourself. Break that larger task into smaller chunks and pace yourself!
- Clean up your space! Clear out and tidy up your binder, locker, desks, etc. Have dedicated spots for various materials. This will hopefully help you focus on what you need to do! Get rid of those old papers from classes that you don’t need anymore. Sometimes you’ll need to purposefully give yourself time each week to tidy things up before it gets too chaotic.
- Less is more sometimes….sometimes it isn’t. Some people thrive by keeping everything in one place. Other people need all of those dividers, folders, labels, etc. to help keep them organized. Experiment and find out what works best for you and your personality.
If you are still having trouble with organization, set a goal for yourself. Every week, go through your binder and figure out the best strategies for yourself.
