Do you eat food while binge watching your favorite show? Do you get so into a show that your popcorn flies across the room? My favorite snack to eat while watching shows is popcorn. Today we’re going to talk about what the top four best snacks are to eat while watching shows.
Number 4 – chips
I think chips are an awesome snack to snack on while binge watching your favorite show. The Con’s: The crunch, crack, and pop every time you take a bite might be nice to hear, but it may be a little noisy when your favorite character is spilling tea. The pro’s: It doesn’t matter what chip it is. You have a variety of chips to choose from, whether you want the zesty ranch Doritos for your comedy show, or the lays BBQ chips for the cookout show marathon your friends invited you to. It doesn’t matter the day, weather, or time, chips are always nice to have around when you’re watching your favorite shows.
Number 3 – Sour foods/candy
Now for candy/sour foods. They aren’t necessarily my favorite, but I like to have candy with me sometimes when I’m watching my show at midnight. The Con’s: Let’s say you’re watching your favorite show of all time with your friend, and they take a bite of a sour patch kid, but little do they know, they hate sour stuff. They make a weird noise and run out of the room making a statement when a character dies. I know I wouldn’t want that to happen. The Pro’s: There is such a wide variety of candy and sour foods, that I don’t know if me and my friends could live without them. Candy is also such a peak childhood characteristic, that if you have never had candy before…what are you doing?
Number 2 – Cheeseballs
Next up, cheeseballs. Cheeseballs have always been a favorite snack for me since I was little. I would be in the car on the way to Colorado when my grandpa would give me a whole tub of cheeseballs. It’s now become a tradition for me and him every year. The Con’s: You are watching a show and you look down at the couch and see a million tiny orange crumbs smeared into the couch, and you realize your parents will get super mad at you. You rush to clean it up, but accidentally push the remote into the cheesy dust, and it turns off the tv during the fight scene. The Pro’s: Cheeseballs are so hard to put down, but good thing they come in a giant tub! Basically, cheese balls are the best because you don’t even have to think about eating them. They’re so light that you can eat like a billion of them while you’re focused on the show, and not even realize the container is empty. Plus, they don’t make a loud crunching sound that ruins the dialogue. If you want a snack that lets you lock in on the plot without any distractions, cheese balls are the GOAT.
Number 1 – Popcorn
Last, but not least, popcorn. Popcorn is not only the best snack to have when watching shows, but is also the most loved by lots of people. The Con’s: You grab the extra buttery popcorn bag and you don’t put it in a bowl. You sit down and click the play button on the remote, but you see that butter is dripping down it. The Pro’s: I could think of so many pro’s to popcorn, but I think we all know the number one pro. When you hear the pop-pop-pop sound from the kitchen, you know your house is about to smell like a literal movie. You can also put basically anything on it, my personal favorite White Cheddar Kernel’s Seasoning. At the end of the day, popcorn is the ultimate show partner. It’s cheap, it’s fun to eat, and it’s the only snack that makes your living room feel like a real cinema. Even if you end up finding a kernel in your couch cushions three weeks later, it’s totally worth it.
I hope you liked this one. Here’s a link to buy some Kernels seasoning from Walmart. Come back next week, because there is always something on.
