And today we will be interviewing Jaden Daniel about his fishing perspective. Hello everybody! I’m Gunner Tollett and I will be interviewing Jaden Daniel. Jaden, do I have your permission to record your voice? Yes.

How long have you fished for? 

Answer: Since I was like four.

Why did you start fishing? 

Answer: I started fishing because my dad took me a lot.

What are your biggest catches while fishing? 

Answer: My biggest catch was a 20-pound catfish at a river in Missouri. 

Do you know what species of catfish that was? 

A blue catfish.

Where do you fish at? 

Answer: I fish at usually ponds, sometimes lakes, private ponds, you know.

What type of rod/reel do you use? 

Answer: I have a spinning rod combo. 

How long have you had that combo for? 

I’ve had it for two years.

What is your favorite thing about fishing? 

Answer: My favorite thing is the quiet and the excitement of catching a fish. So, the nature, scenery. I could say that.

When do you fish…what days, what time?

Answer: Usually after school or the weekends, about 4 o’clock.

What artificial bait do you buy? 

Answer: Wacky worms, I also buy Flukes.

Where do you buy your lures?

Answer: Walmart or online.

What line do you use? 

Answer: I use 15-pound line.

Answer: Bluegill, Sunfiish, Crappie.

Answer: A Mepps Black Fury.
