Have you wanted to travel but did not know where to go? Well, today I  am interviewing a local, Ashley Foraker. She used to travel a lot for work and just for trips in general, and she has some amazing advice for places to visit.

Q:What is one of the best places to visit?

A:”Colorado Springs”

Q:Why is Colorado Springs a good place to visit?

A:“It is in driving distance to some of Colorado’s best known attractions, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor Seven Falls just to name a few.”

Q:Have you been to any of those attractions?

A:”I have been to all the attractions. If you ever go, make sure you visit Pikes Peak.”

Q:What would you say is the best part about Colorado Springs?

A: “Colorado Springs is set between the flat lands as you drive from Kansas and the Colorado Rockies, and the view of the sun setting behind the mountains each evening is beautiful.”

Q:When you went there, what did you do?

A:”We did some shopping, ate at a bistro, and then we also drove to a new attraction 

each day.”

Colorado Springs sounds like a beautiful place to visit, with a lot of things to do.

Q:What is another best place to visit?

A: Another place I think is one of the best places to visit is Florida. 

Q:What would you say is the reason why Florida is a good place to visit?

A:”Beaches are beautiful, you can walk barefoot in the sand along the warm water of the Gulf of Mexico”

Q: What did you eat in Florida? 

A:”Wonderfully cooked different types of fish each day, all fresh from the ocean.”

Q:What would you recommend someone to do if they go to Florida? 

A:”I would recommend to plan a whole day at the beach. The beach is really relaxing.”

Q: What did you do when you went to Florida?

A:”Relaxed at the beach, took a ferry to explore a different resort, and I went to a museum of local art.”

Florida, especially their beaches, sounds really beautiful and relaxing to visit.

Q:What is your favorite place you have visited before?

A:”Dominican Republic”

Q:Why was that your favorite?

A:”It was the first time I had been outside of the United States”

Q: If you have what other places have you visited outside of the United States?

A:”I haven’t visited any other place outside the United States other than the Dominican Republic.”

Q:What did you do that made it your favorite place to visit?

A:” I took a boat ride to a remote island just off the coast of the Dominican Republic, and the ocean water was such a clear crystal blue I could see down to the ocean floor, and our tour guide dove down and brought up a starfish that was sitting in the pure white sand on the ocean floor.”

Q: Did you do anything else when you were on the boat?

A:”We watched for whales, I tried a local beverage, and we also listened to our tour guide give us the history of the island.”

Dominican Republic sounds really breathtaking and a good place to explore outside of the United States.

 Ashley said some great places to go, Colorado Springs where there is tons to do, Florida with their amazing beaches, and the Dominican Republic sounds really breathtaking and just a great experience.
